La maison de Rosalie – ENGLISH version – Valentine Schlegel / Agnès Varda

The title of this book, “La maison de Rosalie” (Rosalie’s House), is borrowed from a small sculpture of Agnès Varda who was pregnant with Rosalie, made in 1959 by Valentine Schlegel. Rosalie herself brought together these selected works by Agnès and Valentine. They intermingle today in Rosalie’s home as these two artists’ lives once intermingled in Sète, on Rue Daguerre and elsewhere.
